You have the flexibility to set what happens to your fixed rate bond at maturity. We will email you 30 days before the end of your bond, asking you to log in to Oxbury Online Banking to view the options available to you and to provide us with your maturity instructions. We will also remind you 14 days and 5 days prior to maturity.
You can read our how-to guide for setting maturity instructions for your account in our FAQs. You can either apply for a new Oxbury account for your matured funds, move your money to an existing Oxbury account or to withdraw it to your Linked Account. We will then enact your instruction automatically once your account matures.
If you do not set any maturity instruction before your bond matures, it will automatically roll over into a Bond Maturity Rollover Account while we wait for you to choose how to reinvest your money. This account is a non-interest-bearing account, so if you don’t provide us with a maturity instruction, your account’s balance will receive 0.00% AER after maturity until you instruct us. The product summary for the Bond Maturity Rollover Account can be viewed here.
