Here is a simple step-by-step process to follow to register for Oxbury Online Banking.
Step 1 – Start by pressing the ‘Log in’ button on www.oxbury.com. Alternatively, you can click the link to Oxbury Online Banking in the welcome email you received from us.
Please ensure that you open this on your desktop/laptop or tablet, and not the device you plan to use to register for the Oxbury App.
Step 2 - The next screen will then ask you for your Oxbury Username and password.
Step 3 – Following this, you will see the ‘register my phone’ screen. Please press 'Continue'.
Step 4 - You will need to select whether you use an Android or Apple device.
Step 5 - Using your handheld device (such as your smartphone or tablet), you will need to download the Oxbury app. Once this has been downloaded, please select the ‘Allow Oxbury to send you notifications’ on the screen.
Step 6 – Please confirm on your desktop/laptop or tablet that you have downloaded the Oxbury App.
Step 7 - Open the Oxbury App. A welcome screen should then show on your device.
Step 8 - On desktop/ laptop or tablet, you should still see the ‘register my phone’ screen. Please click the ‘I am ready’ option.
Step 9 - The next page will show a ‘scan this QR code using mobile smartphone’ page. Please click on ‘generate code’ button and return to your registered device.
Step 10 – Please allow the Oxbury App to use the camera for scanning the QR code on your desktop screen (this process should only take 45 seconds to read the QR code).
Step 11 - In the App, you should now be allowed you to set up a new pin, which must be 6 digits long.
Step 12 – Please allow the Oxbury App to use Face ID/Fingerprint for validation. This is then used for authentication when you log in or make changes to your account.
Step 13 – Finally, you can now log in to your account.
In future, each time you log into Oxbury Online Banking or the Oxbury App, you will have to authorise the login with your face/fingerprint on your registered device.
