To apply for an Oxbury savings account, you will need to do so from a desktop, laptop or tablet device. You can apply through our website, or if you are an existing Oxbury customer, you can also apply for a new account through Oxbury Online Banking or through the Oxbury App for iOS users.
Personal savings account
To open a personal savings account with Oxbury, you need to:
- Be an individual aged 18 or over
- Have a UK current bank account in your name; this will be the account you use to make payments in and out of the Personal Account and is known as your ‘Linked Account’
- Be resident in the UK, and only tax resident in the UK. This account cannot be held in trust or by US Persons (meaning US citizens, residents, green card holders or taxpayers in respect of their worldwide income)
Business savings account
To open a business savings account with Oxbury, you need to:
- Be a UK-based business structured as a sole-trader, partnership or limited company, and all directors/partners, shareholders and beneficial owners must be aged 18 or over, resident in the UK and only tax resident in the UK.
- Have a UK current bank account in your business name; this will be the account you use to make payments in and out of the Business Account and is known as your ‘Linked Account’
- Be resident in the UK and only tax resident in the UK. This account cannot be held in trust or by US Persons (meaning US citizens, residents, green card holders or taxpayers in respect of their worldwide income
Farm Business Savings account
To open a farm business savings account with Oxbury, you need to:
- Be a UK-based farm business structured as a sole-trader, partnership or limited company, and all directors/partners, shareholders and beneficial owners must be aged 18 or over, resident in the UK and only tax resident in the UK
- Provide a valid CPH or SBI number indicating active farmer status
- Have a UK current bank account in your farm business name; this will be the account you use to make payments in and out of the Farm Business Account and is known as your ‘Linked Account’
- Be resident in the UK and only tax resident in the UK. This account cannot be held in trust or by US Persons (meaning US citizens, residents, green card holders or taxpayers in respect of their worldwide income)
